ROMANIANTIMES The 10th edition of Romanian Film Festival Seattle organized by American Romanian Cultural Society. Running Nov. 4-12, 2023 the festival will mark the return to SIFF Uptown Cinema Nov. 4-5 (its home until 2020), and will continue the following weekend at Northwest Film Forum. Not in Seattle? FILMULROMÂNESC IN SUA: WASHINGTON DC SEATTLE MINNESOTA The fourth edition of Romanian Film Festival in Washington, DC kicks off at E Street Cinema on November 2nd, 2023, under the already consecrated motto “Reinventing Realism—New Cinema from Romania”. Six of the newest Romanian films, including a world premiere and an U.S. premiere are waiting for you for four consecutive days! Romanian directors, actors and film critics will cross the Atlantic to introduce their films and meet with the public. Celebrating the Romanian talent, the leitmotiv of the Romanian Embassy’s activity this year, RFF 2023 is organized by the Embassy of Romania to the United States and Romanian Cultural Institute in New York, at the Landmark E Street Cinema inWashington, DC and with the generous support of the sponsors from Romania: Banca Transilvania, BCR, CEC Bank, Dedeman, Kaufland, EximBank, One, Hidroelectrica, Lidl, EMag. The festival is part of an ample cultural program dedicated to the Romania-United States Strategic Partnership: „Romania – United States, a Partnership for the Future – Celebrating Romanian talent”. The first edition of Romanian Film Festival St Paul, Minnesota, November 18-19, 2023 at Landmark Center. The theme of the festival is: “Tales of Our Destiny”. Organized by HORA Heritage Organization of Romanian Americans inMNwith the support of theRomanianCultural Institute in NewYork and through private sponsorships and donations, the festival wants to become a tradition in the Twin Cities.
