WASHINGTON DC ROMANIANTIMES Young Transatlantic Innovation Leaders Initiative Ești tânăr antreprenor? Poți face parte dintr-un program unic de dezvoltare profesională în Statele Unite! Young Transatlantic Innovation Leaders Initiative YTILI Fellowship este un program al Departamentului de Stat american, destinat tinerilor antreprenori din Europa, cu vârsta cuprinsă între 25-35 de ani și minim 2 ani de experiență, care doresc să își dezvolte noi abilități. De la lansarea sa în 2016, peste 300 de absolvenți din toată Europa și-au consolidat abilitățile de afaceri și parteneriatele transatlantice prin programul de burse YTILI. Programul se desfășoară în Statele Unite și durează 6 săptămâni, având costurile acoperite, inclusiv servicii medicale de urgență. În cadrul programului ai acces la o rețea internațională de profesioniști, resurse valoroase și colaborări cu profesioniști americani, iar 3 săptămâni vei activa într-o organizație din SUA, potrivit domeniului tău de activitate. Termen limită pentru înscriere: 5 decembrie 2024. Programul se va desfășura în toamna anului 2025. The 5th edition of the The Romanian Film Festival in Washington took place between November 7-10, 2024 at the iconic Landmark’s E Street Cinema. Dedicated this year to the 20th anniversary of Romania’s accession to NATO, the program featured six of the mostoriginal andthought-provokingproductions, includingRomania’ssubmissionfor the 2025 Oscar awards in the Best International Feature category, “THREE KILOMETRES TO THE END OF THE WORLD”, directed by Emanuel Pârvu. Thus, the Festival reaffirms its value as the most important Romanian cultural cinematographic event in the United States, in a time when Romanian film is ever more present in NorthAmerica. “The Festival offered the unique opportunity to see and enjoy the best Romanian films of the past year. It is also the perfect occasion to celebrate the Romania – USAPartnership, whose cultural dimension, as this event demonstrates, remains full of dynamism, creativity, and diversity”, said the RomanianAmbassador Andrei Muraru. Among the films that could be seen at the festival were “HolyWeek / Săptămâna Mare”, directed by Andrei Cohn; „Where elephants go”, directed by Cătălin Rotaru and Gabi Virginia Șarga; “Warboy”, directed by Marian Crișan; “Horia”, directed by Ana Maria Comănescu; “TWST: Things We Said Today,”, directed by Andrei Ujică and “Three kilometres to the end of the world / Trei kilometri până la capătul lumii”, directed by Emanuel Pârvu.
