Sezonul atlantic de uragane, din anul 2017, este un eveniment ciclic, cu formarea
anuală de cicloane tropicale în bazinul Atlanticului și este cel mai distructiv și dezastruos
sezon uraganian din 2005. Acesta a reprezentat primul uragan major care a lovit Statele
Unite și vecinii, de la Wilma, din sezonul anului 2005, Uraganul Harvey, care a provocat
51,88 in (1318mm) precipitații înTexas, ceamai mare valoare totală a precipitațiilor totale
pentru orice ciclon tropical dinAtlantic înStateleUnite și a cincea ceamaimare precipitație
totală pentru un ciclon tropical din bazinul Atlanticului . De asemenea, uraganul Irma a
fost cel mai puternic uragan care s-a format vreodată în OceanulAtlantic, în afara Golfului
Mexic și a Mării Caraibilor.
Sezonul uraganelor începe, de obicei, prin 1 iunie și se încheie pe la 30 noiembrie.
Pentru al treilea an consecutiv, în 2017, sezonul uraganelor a început la începutul anului,
cu formarea furtunii tropicale, Arlene pe 19 aprilie, aproape o lună și jumătate înainte
de începerea oficială a sezonului. La sfârșitul lunii august, uraganul Harvey a devenit
primul uragan major care a ajuns in Statele Unite de la Wilma in 2005 La începutul lunii
septembrie, uraganul Irma, un uragan de tip Capul Verde, a devenit primul uragan de
categoria 5 care a avut impact asupra Insulelor Leeward din nord, precum și uraganul cel
mai puternic care a avut loc vreodată în bazinulAtlanticului. Sezonul de uragane din 2017
este primul sezon, care a înregistrat două uragane din categoria 4 sau mai puternice din
Oceanul Atlantic, care au avut loc în Statele Unite.
Concluzionând cele prezentate, Domnul Dumnezeu face ce vrea și când vrea,
orice deviere de la mersul norma al lucrurilor ne afectează pe noi pământenii.
Uraganul Irma a produs aproape 100 de victime, mult mai puține decât, Katrina (peste
1000).Aprodus pagube materiale enorme dar oamenii au luat în serios dezastrul care vine
și au fugit. Va veni o vreme când pe pământ va fi strâmtorare printre neamuri, care nu vor
ști ce să facă la auzul urletului mării și al valurilor (Luca 21:25).
